To set customised settings in your Porsche, you will need:
► An active Porsche ID account. Set yours up here: https://porsche.click/MyPorsche_YT
► Active Connect Services
How to configure MyScreen:
► To access MyScreen, tap the home icon in the main tab bar. If you want to customise your dashboard, tap the option key located in the lower right and tap ‘Configure MyScreen’. Then select the category you want to add from the list and swap it with another by holding and dragging it. You can configure up to three sections of your MyScreen. Alternatively, in the home screen you can tap the option key and select ‘adapt sorting’. You can do the same with your main tab bar.
► To use voice recognition, you need to activate it first. To do so, press the voice control button on your steering wheel. A pop-up will appear, and you will see a globe in the lower left corner. Clicking on the globe leads you to the voice control settings. Activate the ‘Online Voice Recognition’ by tapping on the entry as it gives you better results. Tap on ‘Activation with “Hey Porsche”’ to use voice control by simply saying, “Hey Porsche.”
► To reconfigure the multifunction buttons for quick access, hit the multifunction button that is located on the left side of your steering wheel, as well as on the right side of your instrument cluster. To reconfigure it, hold down on the multifunction button. On the Porsche Communication Management (PCM), the ‘change button assignment’ menu comes up automatically. Select the joker key you want to change, select the preferred option, then tap ‘confirm’.
► Rearrange the order of the media sources by holding down the icons. Drag the media source to its new place and do not forget to press ‘confirm’. While in the radio application, you can also switch to the radio settings by pressing the icon in the bottom right corner. In the radio settings you have the option to activate online station tracking, so in cases of weak reception, or when you’re driving outside of the radio reception area, you will still be able to listen to your favourite local radio station.
