“Chapter 2—Porsche Wet Mode: Greater safety in the 911
Maximum safety when rain hits the road—offered by Porsche Wet Mode in the new 911. Acoustic sensors in the wheel wells of the iconic sports car “hear” spray thrown up by the tires. A message on the display recommends that the driver use the assistance system—even if the showers are over but the road is still wet. That means no restriction in power, but greater stability and a typical Porsche feeling.
