Beneath the floodlights of the Saudi circuit on the shores of the Red Sea, Ferrari brought the GT World Challenge Europe – Endurance Cup to a close, securing five titles including the coveted overall Drivers’ winners’ laurels, claimed by Alessandro Pier Guidi and Alessio Rovera, and the Teams’ title, won by AF Corse – Francorchamps Motors. After claiming pole position in the 6 Hours of Jeddah, 296 GT3 driven by Pier Guidi, Rovera and Rigon came home in P3 to confirm the title.
The race was also a cause for celebration for Sky Tempesta Racing, crowned champions of the Teams’ Bronze class. Their drivers, Jonathan Hui, Christopher Froggatt, and Eddie Cheever, came out on top of the Drivers’ standings (Endurance Cup and combined classifications) in the same category.
