The Daimler Truck “be a mover” review 2023 – Jörg Howe looks back on an eventful year

Jörg Howe joins us from Studio 1 at Daimler Truck headquarters with New Year’s greetings and looks back at some of the highlights of the past year.

2023 was an eventful year with great successes for Daimler Truck. Jörg Howe, for example, welcomed Daimler Truck CEO Martin Daum to the Capital Market Day in Boston, spoke with Board of Management member Andreas Gorbach about technological developments and discussed possible future prospects for e-mobility with “Germany’s car pope” Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Dudenhöffer.

The visit to FC Freiburg’s Bundesliga stadium was a sporty affair, with a chat with team bus driver Stefan Spohn. At the NABU crane center in Groß-Mohrdorf/Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Daimler Truck actively supports species conservation and spoke with its director Dr. Günther Nowald and actress Claudia Eisinger about urgent issues relating to nature conservation and ecological sustainability.

Michael Brecht, Chairman of the General Works Council, explained from his perspective the need for corporate transformation in the Commercial Vehicles division, as well as possible solutions to the shortage of skilled workers.
