A love letter to the Porsche V8

Eight cylinders at 90 degrees from each other, and in the form of a ‘V’. It was love at first sight. It’s what made the Porsche 928 an instant icon. It’s what lives on in many of the Porsche fleet today. 2022 marks 45 years since the first eight-cylinder Porsche – the groundbreaking V8 that’s the beating heart of our mightiest hybrids, and which still continues to break new ground and win affection today. This Valentine’s, our heart belongs to the V8.
