Ford is donating more than $100,000 worth of unused leather hides—used to create interior prototypes for vehicles such as the Escape, Explorer and F-150 King Ranch®*—to two local Detroit businesses committed to social responsibility in the community. The hides are going to Pingree Detroit, a leather goods company that employs veterans, and Mend on the Move, a mobile nonprofit that employs women survivors of abuse.
