Manfred Huber is living an uncommon Porsche dream. Although the native of Bavaria was born without legs, he held fast to his dream of one day driving what is, for him, the non plus ultra of sports cars: the 911.
Manfred Huber first heard the sound of a Porsche 911 as a kid. When he then saw the sports car, it was clear to him that he wanted to drive one someday. A vision that he has pursued undaunted in spite of his physical disability. He gave up a secure job at the bank and became a mechanic. Eventually, he rebuilt a 1970 911 T 2.4 that he had saved from the scrap heap. Thanks to the clever manual operation system he devised, he still cruises his Bavarian homeland in this classic car today.
The Porsche Museum by night: a drone navigates through the exhibition in Zuffenhausen, encountering legendary vehicles and mementos of the extraordinary history of Porsche along the way.
